Crowds during Spring Break (SFoG) ?

I'm considering checking out Six Flags Over Georgia on a weekday during Spring Break next week. Partly thinking it might be less crowded than in the summer. Of course, I could be WAY off base. Just curious what your experience has been in the past with crowds this week.

Thanks!

Lines will be 4 hours long for everything. Don't go.

When is freaknic?
I went to SFMW last week. Most of the rides were walk ons.

"enough is enough"-?

I went to SFOG for Spring Break last year and most rides were walk-on. Most local Atlanta colleges and universities have already had spring break and local school districts had spring break either last week or this week.
Last I heard, there is no "freaknik". Back in 1998 they tried to rename it "Freedom Fest". After that, I never heard of it again. You'd be better off trying for "Black Bike Weekend" @ Myrtle Beach.

BBW in Myrtle Beach is INSANE. That's the only way to put it. It takes me about an hour to get to the Hurricane from my house on a normal day. Add BBW to the mix, & that baby's a three & a half hour ride. They close the highway for mayhem. If you do not like a crazy party, stay away. I'm talking women of all races on the backs of bikes, on the street, everywhere wearing nothing & next to & hundreds of people video taping the whole ordeal, with the occasional white folk like myself driving through looking confused:)......
but BBW is a little later in the year, MMDW or something.

SFoG can get quite packed during the Spring Break, though. Don't be scared of standing in line, you no like lines, just skip the Scorcher:).

I've never been, but my friends in ATL (great city, don't listen to that other guy) tell me spring break is a good time to hit SFoG. May be pretty crowded with S:UF opening, though.

Freaknik was one of the biggest headaches I've ever been involved with in Atlanta. Thank God it's been dead the past few years. I work downtown and got stuck in it each year. The Freaknik crowd was way worse than when I used to hit Ft. Lauderdale during Spring Break.
Yeah, BBW is over the Memorial Day holiday. I actually *did* go to SFoG over spring break, college spring break that is. I was suprised that they were even open in March. There was pretty much no one in the park at all. I remember that the ride of choice among our group (there were about 30 of us) was FreeFall. I rode it like three or four times. OrGASM was running backwards at that time for whatever reason, and I honestly cannot remember riding MindBender (though I'm sure if it was open, we rode it as we went after all the big rides).

That headache now exists in Myrtle:), only they added it to an already existing headache, sorta.

GASM backwards?

Want to see nobody in the park? Go on Mothers' Day, my mom understands, so will yours:).......
