Crowds at SIX FLAGS GREAT AMERICA...

My family is taking a trip to Chicago next week, and on Friday, June 16, we are going to spend a day at Six Flags Great America. How should the crowds and the lines be?

Have you ever seen a man eat his own face?

Weekdays are generally not that bad crowdwise. Depends on the weather too. If the weather is crummy hardly any lines. If the weather is beautifull it will be more crowded. Since it is a Friday it will not be that bad anyway. Saturday is usually Sardinefest.

Tips:

1) Start from the back first... Coasters to ride in the morning American Eagle/Iron Wolf/Demon/Whizzer lines form later

2) after 7pm ride Raging Bull/ Superman Ultimate Flight and Batman the lines die down by them

3) Resturants: avoid Mooseburger Lodge I always leave there mad.

good ones:

Farmers Market outdoor but good variety

Claim Jumpers

every place else is some old same old same old

I have not tried New England Cafe hope to try it one day

Never went to Aunt Marthas boarding house since Chickens hate my guts

Shows:

Got to see Tribute to the Stars it is GOOD!

Parades: Skip the 4; O'Clock Parade they have a bunch of serious looking justice leauge characters waving. Go to the one at night it has fireworks and bugs bunny

Cleaniesness of Park: SUPERB!!! The park is spotless...emplyees even clean the garbage cans ...heck they even clean their own emplyees as well and if you are not carefull they may try to chase you down to clean you too!! *** Edited 6/11/2006 7:26:34 PM UTC by Cs6153*** *** Edited 6/11/2006 7:29:40 PM UTC by Cs6153*** *** Edited 6/11/2006 7:30:20 PM UTC by Cs6153***

Aunt Martha's is pretty good if you like fried chicken. Not a bad bang for your buck, and they have this eeeevil chocolate parfait thing that takes at LEAST 2 people to finish. X3

Watch out for flying maps!

We will be arriving at the park at around noon and leaving at either 7 or 8 in the evening.

Thanks for the help so far!

There will be crowds, probably around 20-30 min for Raging Bull, and around 45 min for Deja Vu all day, if not longer. For some reason everyone loves American Eagle this year, so expect to wait for that too (or it could just be that they are running it at half-capacity). Superman will also have a significant wait, until around 7pm or so. You shouldn't have too much trouble getting on everything in eight hours though, have fun.
