crowds @ pki

How have the crowds been so far at PkI? We are going next friday, should we plan on 2 days?? I was hoping they weren't too bad yet! About how long a wait for the coasters? (i know the new rides will be longer)

I wouldn't expect the rides to be terrible long. You always can know that FOF and F/O will have the longest lines.

I just want to add something on this topic which may or may not help you out. Yesterday (Friday the 23rd) my friends and I were heading up to a Cincinnati Reds game so we figured to leave a little early and go do some power riding at PKI. We all figured it would be empty being the first day of every day operation and a friday afternoon. Wow were we wrong, the parking lot was so filled we said screw it and left. It seems like every time i've been there this year its been very crowded. Looks like this year won't be so great for any walk on ride days like it seems the previous Mays and Aprils were. I guess memorial day could have played a factor but I thought that most people would get there on saturday.

I was at the park on Friday 23rd, and the crowds weren't bad at all. When I pulled into the parking lot, I also thought it would be bad, but so far, nothing has compared to "Sneek Preview Night." On Friday, the lines were almost non-existant, even though the parking lot was filled with cars.

Just a side note, I have found that the lines for the new rides ( Delerium, Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle, Spongebob 3D ) are actually shorter than the lines for older rides. I think that these rides just have very good capacity, so the lines move very quickly.
