crazy new Intamin

Not too many rides make me say wow anymore but......

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SFNE Freak: Korakuen very much was out of room, LaQua is being built as part of an expansion across the street, which will include a spa and shopping mall.

I agree about the accidents happening... imagine if Millie was in the middle of Manhattan (Though I have to say I think this will beat the pants off Millie). I know I couldn't keep my eyes off it. It's hard enough driving across the causeway.

I've always wondered this. How do you say the name of the park?

Is it Kora - Q - In?

Or Kor - Rak - U - In?'

Or am I way off?

I prefer the pears in the heavy syrup. They're just good.

I would guess kor-A-koo-in

BassHedz. Stratosphere wants to build their ride over the historic part of LasVegas. Although I'd love to see the ride built, it's just terrible. I'm glad it isn't being built.

It would be sweet to live in a high rise right across the street though...

Oh you mean the mob run stripjoints? Las Vegas has always been sleazy. To build the ride is a testament to the spirit of sin city.

I belive the correct awy to pronounce it is: KO-RAH-KWEN

Historic Las Vegas? Isn't that an oxymoron?

If you could just see the beauty... these things I could never describe. Pleasures and wayward distraction; is this my wonderful prize? --Joy Division

After reviewing all of the pictures, I now think that that is the most visually impressive ride I have ever seen. It just screams ride me in every way...Im in awe...it sickens me, but I will probably never get to Japan...

Yes it is. Just like mac gamer or microsoft works.

I'm wondering what will be in the structure near and around where the coaster travels through. I work in an office about 100yds or so from a railway and my office shakes when a train goes by....I can't imagine what it would do if coaster train went through it.

If you look closely you can see that this coaster too has Intamin's shock absorbers on the connection between the track and support to reduce the noice and vibration. You can see those absorbers on Xcelerator's turns.

The huge building it's running on will be a mall and i think there'll also be a hotel but i'm not sure about that one.

Yup, [url=”http://www.pbase.com/image/7665943”]Sky Flower provides a perfect chance to take pictures of a lot of different things. To the left, we see [url=”http://www.pbase.com/image/7623677”]Tokyo Dome, which is part of a complex that includes, Korakuen a huge hotel, and now a shopping another center.

The other side of the parachute drop provides a nice view of Linear Gale. Look how close the station is to the [url=”http://www.pbase.com/image/7623387”]street. And here is a view from the top of the back [url=”http://www.pbase.com/image/7623279”]spike.

And Tower Hacker does come very close to a [url=”http://www.pbase.com/image/7625220roof”]roof. Very thrilling.

Edit-not sure what happened to the tags, but you can figure it out.

The drops off the sides of the building look sweet...its like your are just plummeting toward the ground!

The CORRECT pronunciation is: Ko-da-Koo-En...the Ra sounds more like the French R with only a slight roll to it, basically sounding like a D. :)
