Crazy Coaster Concept

I dont know if it was lack of sleep, lack of desire to do work or what, but I had a *kinda* strange idea for a coaster. Tell me what you all think. Okay, picture S:UE. Now imagine that you would ride this in a prone (face down) position. You would need similar restraints to the new Huss Fly-away. You would get into the restraints standing up, and then the ride would tilt up until you were lying face down. The rest of the ride would be just like S:UE with spiraled tower and all but instead of flying up the spiral face first, you fly up the spiraled tower HEADFIRST. Now I know that this would be a capacity nightmare due to the restraints, so I have a solution, side by side mirror tracks. But, the other side has a slight twist, the train would be facing the other way, so instead of going up the spiraled tower headfirst, you would spiral up FEETFIRST! Of course, ideally the two trains would be launched simultaneously (sp?). I even have a name for it (if it went into a Six Flags Park) Superman Versus Bizzaro. The Bizzaro side being the feet first side. I think it could work. What do y'all think. Comments, questions, criticisims (sp?) welcomed =].

Whoa. That sounds cool. I like the idea of two different coasters launched at the same time. I don't think it would be a capacty nightmare with only one, look at stealth, but still cool. I don't like to talk about my ideas. I just have some crazy inversions. And one great thing. A reversed banked turn. But I won't say anything more.

I don't think that concept it too far-fetched! Given the recent elements given to some new coasters, it could be a remote possibility.

A coaster where you lie down? not entirely an original idea i'm afraid cos we already have one over here, the coaster isn't very good mind but you still lie down on it.

i was always dreamed of a SUE mirror right next to it while standing in line....just never laying down. i would make the twist twist the different way, so there would be a duelingdragons effect. of course, until they destroy ME, there isnt any room for another.

Excellent concept!! I love the name you came up with for it, too. While you are at it, why not make the track somehow different, so it won't be just a clone in a different position. (I know this is just a fantasy idea, but it's fun to dream.)

spoon1e: What coaster are you taling about. i was under the impression that Stealth @ PGA was the only lying down ride. Please say more about the ride you are speaking of.

How about instead of it being a shuttle make it into a full circuit with inline twists to connect the two ends. It could do get faster and faster each time it hit the LIMs.

Thank you 2hostyl. Where is that laying down coaster you are talking about?

The ride i'm talking about is at Granada Studios here in the UK the rides crap but i'm sure it was the first lying down ride, i hope a big park like Alton Towers take the idea on and expands on it, we need a new big ride over here since Japan cloned Oblivion.
