Priceless

Being a member of the Joe Cool Club at CP, I decided to take advantage of the exclusive ride time on Millennium Force and Raptor this morning from 8:30-9:30. It was quite amusing to walk past the long lines of people already waiting to get into the park, walk down the empty midway, and straight onto the Raptor..first train of the day. I rode Raptor three times in a half hour, being one of only a few people on the train each time. Next, I proceeded to Millennium Force and walked straight up the "chicken-out line" and onto the ride, which went out of the station each time with a few seats empty. I rode Millennium Force three times in the next half hour and then made my way to the Magnum as the gates were opened and the masses of people began their sprint to the Force. I got several strange looks and a few comments from people wondering why I was the only person leisurely strolling in the opposite direction. I smiled, knowing that I had already had my Millennium Force fix for the day. I rode Magnum three times in the next half hour and then the Mine Ride and Gemini. Altogether, 11 roller coaster rides in two and a half hours. I'm definitely coming back on Thursday to do it again, when MF, Raptor, Mantis, Power Tower, and Magnum will be open for club members! Being a Joe Cool definitely has its perks. *** This post was edited by KicksTheSky on 7/22/2001. ***

Ha! I was just going to post a similar trip report. I did three laps on Millennium Force and two on Raptor this morning without even trying. Bah! Who needs enthusiast events for things like this when the lowly common general public get to do it?

And would you believe I heard some crybaby whiner "enthusiasts" complain that they wouldn't let them stay on or open the gate back to the entrance?

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Some enthusiasts aren't happy unless they're complaining about something.

Sounds great. I assume you have to have a season pass before you pay the $15 fee for the Joe Cool club? Otherwise when word of this gets out everyone will buy into it and then you will have long lines for the ERT, etc.

I know you rider Gonna miss me when I'm gone

Wow KicksTheSky, that's really weird I did exactly what you did at the park ;). Yeah that ERT is awesome. I'm spoiled for life because of this. Now I probably won't wait no more than 15 minutes for MF and Raptor. :)
