It is taller than Bull, there is no incline in the land between Giant Drop and Bull. If you have rode Giant Drop looking towards Raging Bull you would agree. I don't know why you are trying to make Giant Drop sound so little. Its over 202 feet for sure, and if you don't think so ride it again and look for yourself.
OR.....
Heres a pic to prove my point, now even keep in mind that you said objects further away appear smaller. If so than Giant Drop is way bigger than Bull because it still towers over it in this pic taken from Sky Trek Tower with the ride vehicles at the top of the tower.

Nice picture....wish I had time to shoot a few while I was in the park that day.
But you're forgetting the whole foreshortening thing I was talking about (objects farther away seem smaller). From the POV of the Sky Trek tower, Giant Drop is much closer than RB and therefore appears much taller.
Don't believe me? Click here for a park map. Look at the Sky trek tower's position near the front of the park....then Giant Drop's...then RB's.

Sorrrrrrrry folks! Parks closed. The moose out front should have told you.
I'm going to go ahead an add my piece on this lil' matter here..
'Playa, your argument about "look at PKI's Drop Zone, it's 315' and only drops from 262'" is flawed. Drop Zone has an *enormous* "claw" that brings the riders to the top that accounts for a lot of footage. Also, the cap on DZ is a bit longer than GD's. Lastly, I believe PKI counts that long lightning rod at the top of DZ in it's height.
SFGAm's GD is 227' to the top of the circular rings on the Motor House (as said in the Training Manual). I'm going to guesstimate that the cap counts for about 22' and then the catchwagon (the thing that carries the cars to the top, with the cars numbers on them) account for about 5'. So roughly, I'd say you fall from about 200'.
One thing is for sure though, it's most certainly more than 160ft. :)

Actually, From the Sky Trek Tower, the RB lift hill is actually closer than Giant Drop. I'm positive about this. Your link to the park map shows the same thing.
Not that the height of Giant Drop really means anything. We all know that taller doesn't really mean better.
In my opinion, the best Drop Tower is Hellevator which is about as short as they come. The short brake run on this ride makes it one of the most thrilling drops I've been on. Giant Drop would be second followed by Drop Zone and Power Tower.
Rides like PKI's Drop Zone are fun because of the height, but the brakes run over half the length of the ride which ends the actual freefall way too early(Again, my opinion).
I'm not sure why you had a bad impression of Giant Drop. I know that many times when I'm at a crowded park, it can really kill the mood and result in me not enjoying anything, including the rides, as much as I normally would.

I didn't have a bad impression of Giant Drop--I just live 20 minutes from a taller ride, that's all.
Just because a ride isn't the greatest I've ever been on doesn't mean I don't like it. I just went on expecting the freakish intensity of a 1st gen Intamin freefall...which I didn't get. I'd still ride again provided I didn't have to stand in line for it. And frankly, I won't stand in line for any of the other freefalls either.
