Help! I was wondering what the fastest, easiest way is from Cedar Point to King's Island is.

Take 250 South to I-71 South. This should get you there. It's about 180mi. or so. Make sure you pay attention to the signs on 250, the highway goes through several towns. Also watch your speed on both. I was in a hurry on I-71 South going back to the airport in Columbus and got flagged off by one of Ohio's finest. $81 bucks ain't bad for a speeding ticket, but it's still $81 bucks! Good Luck.
Punk, I know there has to be 5 or 6 ways, but check yahoo.com (Maps) and make your own decision, cause you're going to get 5 ways from all of us. For me, when traveling in that area, I would go Route 4 south out of Sandusky. Go through Attica and Bucyrus to US 23 south into Columbus. BUT, take I-270 west around Columbus, because I-71 downtown is a nuclear test site. When you reach I-71 south, take it to PKI. I hope that helps.
Have a great time!!

I will be doing the exact opposite trip in just a few days. (WHOO-HOO!!) From the fine folks over at guidetothepoint.com, I learned that the only real difference between taking 23 or 250 is speed limit. Apparently, on 23 there is a nice stretch of 65mph. This will shave a bit of time off the trip. I also went to yahoo and mapquest for maps, but honestly the best info I got, was from the folks who've done it. :-)

Be careful taking 23. I went that way over Memorial Day weekend, and they had route 4 closed at one of the small towns, just south of Sandusky. The detour takes you about 5 miles out of the way, and it's very slow. I'd try to find out if the construction is still going on. If it is, I'd take 71.

You can cut the Rt. 4 detour down to almost nothing by taking Township Road 81 rather than following the marked detour.
