CP this thursday!

i think im going to hit up CP this thursday, any tips\suggestion, it will be my first time out this season.. im in the lower MI area, its about a 2.5-3 hour drive depending on traffic ok for the questions:

1- where can i find the discounts(whats products\stores)

2- is it worth it to leave eairly like 6ish & hit traffic and get there when it opens, or better to leave like 8ish and hit less traffic and get there around 10-11ish

3- any tips, comments, suggestions?

I am not sure on discounts, but id say go for the running of the bulls.

Try searching for discounts in the search box. I know there have been treads about this previously.

Pepsi products have $13 discounts on the cans and if you are a AAA member, they also sell discount tickets (don't know how much of a discount).

thx were thinkin about leavin around 7 hows the traffic from MI - sandusky, what about leavin @ 9 and beatin traffic?

You should be fine as far as crowds go. The traffic on the way in isn't that bad either. If you go a little early to arrive at about 9:30 am, you should beat out any major traffic, if there is any.

Have fun at the park, make sure you bring Pepsi cans for the discount.

When we go to CP during the week, (from Plymouth/Canton area) we generally leave around 7ish. That puts us near Toledo around 8, and traffic isn't as bad as it might be earlier. You are going to have traffic regardless, but it tends to move well.
