CP season pass question

Greetings everybody...my friend and I will be making a trip to Cedar Point July 24, staying at the Breakers Hotel. We were wondering how we should go about getting our season passes from the park. I have the understanding that you can only buy/process them at the front gate, which would be rather difficult to do from the Breaker's side. Would it be better to stop on the way to the hotel when we get there? Or, does the park have something (like buying the pass at another gate, so that you can walk to the front to get it processed) that would help us out? Any thoughts, ideas, etc. would be helpful. Thanks.
If you park in the Breakers lot and go into the hotel they will call a shuttle for you. They drop you off right near the front. Then you can get your pass and head right into the park. At least thats how I did it earlier this year.

You'll have to buy & process at the front gate. There are no passes that allow you to walk through the park. So you can drive to the main lot either before or after you check in. Or after you check in you can have the Resort Courtesy Shuttle drive you to the Main Gate.

Thanks guys...sounds like that will take care of it. I always thought the shuttle just went to the nearest gate...but I guess going to the front gate makes sense, as the nearest gate is like only a few hundred feet away.
If you haven't bought your season pass certificates yet, you can still get them at the Meijer on 250 in Sandusky for $89.95 instead of paying $99.95 at the gate.
We're off for Cedar Point in a little over twelve hours. Does the Meijer still offer the $89.95 passes? Didn't know if it was a limited time deal or not. Also, where exactly is this Meijer located on 250? Is it near the "strip" area (not sure of the exact word for it) in Sandusky? I vaguely remember a Meijer nearby when I was there last year. Sorry about the shor notice.
Yeah its right up there by all the restaurants...

But then again, what do I know?

I don't know if the Meijer still offers the season passes, but if you go to the TOPS by Great Wolf Lodge and buy a season pass in there. It's 90$ instead of 100$, dosen't seem like a lot at first but think about it, 10$.
Or if you haven't bought your season pass yet you can do this. Buy a ticket at the back gate near Breakers. Later on in the day when you feel like you need a break, go to the front of the park (you'll have to leave, get a stamp) and they will let you put the money you paid for your ticket towards your season pass. You won't lose any money and you get early entrance.
*Make sure you buy the ticket ONLY at the back gate, not the hotel. For some reason they won't let you do that.

If you don't go this way be aware the season pass center doesn't open until 9:30 I think. (Your early entry would be ruined)
