CP Ride and Slide? Worth it?

I was just wondering if this is worth $60 bucks. If so, then what two day combination would be better to go on: a Sunday and a Monday or a Thursday and a Friday. Thanks in advance.

I'd have to say that the two day ride and slide ticket, is one of the best non-season pass bargains in the business. In past years, that price was just for CP. Now they have included Soak City too! I can't speak for this year, but last year, I'd say that Sunday and Monday would be the better choice as Sundays were the least busy day of the week. Supposedly, CP has been pretty packed the last week or so with Magnum approaching a 45 minute wait for a while every day.

Last Saturday when I shot Snoopy Rocks for GTTP, I left at 12:15. At that point, Magnum had a block and a half full, Blue Streak queue was full, Soak City lot at 75%, main lot full and traffic backed up to Cleveland Rd. I'm betting it's the busiest day they've had this year, and with good weather this Saturday, a repeat is likely.

But to get to the main point, I would have to say the ride and slide ticket is a great bargain. I love Soak City. It's a great break from the park on a hot day. And when you're done sliding, you are all refreshed and ready to tackle the coasters again. For the extra twenty or so dollars it's well worth it.

And, yes, Jeff, last Saturday was a bear.

It is a good deal but im not that much of a fan of soak city becuase when i was there a couple of weeks ago i rode one o the water slides andi dont dont know what it was (i think it was gaps) but it is really hard on the back. You can feel it as you speed up it gets better bu it still skrapes your back. but it is a good water park other than that. n conclusion it is a really good deal considering they are seperate parks.

Are You Ready!?

This 2 day deal is a great bargain compare to what it would cost for both separately...and both parks are included both days!

I went last week and used the ride and slide. Monday I went to the point Tuesday soak city and Wednesday back to the point. Had an awsome time.

BTW, are Sundays as crowded or less crowded than regular weekdays?

One key point to remember about the Ride And Slide this year: It's the only two day ticket available in 2002.

In the past, as you may recall there was Ride And Ride Again (2 days at CP), Ride & Slide Silver (1 day at CP, 1 day at Soak City), and Ride And Slide Gold (2 days, park hopping ability). What they have done is taken their Ride and Slide Gold and made it their standard 2 day admission opton, at a fanastic price. $59 = $29.50 per day for Cedar Point fun. Even if you don't set foot in Soak City, its a great deal.

If you stay at the resorts, you can buy the 2 day ride/side pass for $54.00. We bought 3 of these. Went to soak city and CP the first day. Went to CP only the second day and sold the extra 3 soak cit passes to a family for $20.00. Net cost $44.00 per person for 2 days. Can't beat that anywhere.
I did it and it is great. Cedar Point is great then Soak City has some pretty good sides. But it is hard staying at Soak City when Millennium and MAgnums hills are right there;)

And even better yet this year for the Ride and Slide pass.... it's $20 cheaper than last year. I even called CP earlier this season to make sure the R&S pass this year is the same as last year's. Sure enough.... both parks, two days... $59. Heck you can't even set foot into SFGAdv for less than that!
