CP Questions

This July I'll be going to be going to CP on a Monday & Tuesday for my 3rd visit. Are these good days to go? Is it a little less crouded usual? I am staying at the Breakers. Do we get in 1/2 or 1 hour before the public is let in? Is there an entrance right next to the breakers? Or do we have to go to the main entrance. Where is the entrance? By WT or more by Maggie. Also, do any of the "lower class" rides usually have lines. My brother wants to go on alot of them and he possibly may go on Maggie. Are they usually walkons-10 minutes? Or more than that? When you get in early is there usual short enough waits to hit both MF and WT? Thanks!

The entrance to the park from Breakers is right next to Wicked Twister. I was there on Wednesday and Thursday and I got in at 9:00. The non resort stayers came in at 9:30. I thought this was weird since the park opens at 10. I got onto Millennium Force within the thirty minutes. Wicked Twister wasn't open in the morning so Raptor was open instead and I got to that without it having a big line. Once Wicked Twister did open on Thursday though, the line seemed to move pretty quickly. I didn't wait for it though because I was far up in the line. You can probably do every ride in one day on a Tuesday or Monday. Those are the best days to visit.

I stayed at Breakers in May. The hotel guests were let in at 8:30am (everyone else at 9:00am this was on a saturday). I got 3 rides on MF by 9:05am. Longest wait was 10 minutes for the 3rd ride.

Not to bad of waits! I'll probably do one each day just to be on the safe side.

Wow, glad to hear they opened Raptor for the morning ERT with WT down. I wish Raptor was part of the ERT along with MF and WT.

SuperDude,

As for as if those are good days to go: Considering the days you are going for this time of year they couldn't be any better unless you could go back in time to before school left out. So yes, it is a good time to go.

As far as all the entrances for everyone and anyone. You (while staying at the hotel breakers), can go in anyone you want but here at the entrances:
Main Gate (most go through here of course)
Marina Gate (Most MForce riders go through here)
Water Park gate aka Magnum gate (most resort people go through here)
Beach Front Gate (Most WTwister and some resort go through here)

If it's a REALLY warm day and nice I don't know if you'll get to do everything but it is possible escpecially since you can get in before the normal public which is a HUGE help. If Raptor is a big line if you don't get to it first try to hit it around 3 or 4pm when the line is the smallest. Mean Streak is almost always a walk on. I usually hit in this order to ride everything:

WT and MForce (before crowd enters)
They enter
Mantis
Wild Cat
Iron Dragon
Power Tower Up and Down
(crowd is around power tower)
Corkscrew
Magnum
(crowd is around Magnum now)
Carnival rides around Magnum
Gemini
Camp Snoopy
Mine Ride
Mean Streak
Water Landing
(take train back up front)
Disaster Transport
Ferris Wheel
Eat
Blue Streak
Raptor
Demon Drop
And then I walk back and hit everything I want again and make a trip through frontier town.

Can we change the name of Top Gun to your mom so no one wants to ride your mom?

I haven't been there since the first week MF was open. Do they let you choose your seat on MF now? I never made it all the way to the back last time I was there.

they let ya line up for front or back, and they usually let ya choose the other seats on a first come, first serve basis...in other words, if you get there first, it's yours, but you can't line up for it. Occasionally, when the case need be, they assign seats front to back, but that's not an "all the time" thing.
