CP Opening Day

Associated parks:
None

This was a very fun day. One of the most memorable opening days I have been to. I woke up around 8:30AM and my brother, friend and I started off toward the park. We had to stop at Battery Park first to straighten out some things but after that we headed towards CP.

I already had my season pass (because I was smart and sent my certificate in the mail) so I went into the park while my brother and friend waited in the 2+-hour wait for a pass.

The first ride I rode was Demon Drop. I really like this ride. It's an oldie but goodie. Then I headed on over to Disaster Transport to see how it had changed. I like it better now. The new effects are a nice addition and it's better than it used to be.

When I was done with that I went back to check on the others in my group, when they were done we headed over to the Midway Market for some food. I love this place. In my opinion it is the best for your buck.

Wicked Twister was next on our agenda. This ride is awesome. From the first launch to when it slows down it is intense. Great addition to the park

After we got off WT I noticed someone who was riding looked very familiar. It was Jackie from Tough Enough 2! I went up to her and asked if she was her and she said yes. She was very nice and we got our pictures with her. She said she used to work at CP. I was very excited.

Didn't get on Magnum or Millennium Force today, but we have the rest of the summer to do that. It was about 4:30 and we were getting really tired so we decided to go home.

All in all it was a very memorable day and I'm looking forward to the rest of the season.

Did you happen to ask her who won?
How crowded was the point today? Did you have to wait long for Wicked Twister? My sister went today, which means she gets to ride WT before I do...ugghh...stupid finals!

I get the feeling there's a conspiracy over at King's Island to remove anything that has "K" or "C" in its initials.

Did you go on any other rides?
I didn't ask her who won. I was just kinda shocked that I saw her. I waited about 45 minutes today for Wicked Twister. Other rides I rode were Iron Dragon and Gemini. We were really tired from seeing the late showing of Spider-Man the night before, thats why we came home so early.
Nice TR! Today was WT's opening to the public right?

So was Jackie as cute in person as she looks on TE2?

I know Jackie and talked to her a few times over the day. She doesn't even know who won. They find out on a live show.. Much like Survivor has done.

ANd yes.. she worked Means Streak last season.
