Hello Scared Coaster Fans,
This picture says it all: Can we say busy?
For those that still need more:
This is going to be VERY Short. This was a day like closing Weekend 2000. The EXTRA EXTRA Parking Grass was even being used. If there was ground people parked in it (including ALL the Soak City and hotel parking lots). CP didn't know were to put all the people. We arrived at 5 and fought are way to Soak City. SOOooo Many people walking around.
Fought are way into the park by Magnum (and I really do mean fought and shoved.) ALL ques MAXED out (including carnival rides from what we saw.) Employees said TTD reached a 4 hour point. Line was full and then went outside, down, and past TTD station and then some. We just wanted to go for the haunted houses but that wasn't going to happen.
The midways were SOOOoo packed and we were tired of fighting through them after 30min. Shawna and I left. We talked to a few coaster friends and they said it seemed to be getting more busy since they have been there. All I can say for CP is WOW.
PS- Even ALL the guys restrooms had lines!

I dont care what anyone says Magnum is better then MF, which is better then TTD!

"No, it offends me as a comedian."
Whatever you do, dont goto CP on a Saturday even on Halloweekends!
Not necessarily. The weekend before (10/4) the weather was overcast, occasionally dripping, and COLD. I don't think MF ever crested a one-hour line the entire day. The weekend before that had a lousy forecast (rain) but turned out great, and led to modest crowds as well.
During Halloweekends, the weather seems to play an inordinately large role in determining crowd levels. I went during last year's Indian Summer and it was similarly nuts.

If I was part of a coaster, I would be an upstop pad on an Arrow Mine Train.
MAGNUM HAD MY BABY!
incidently, why are sundays never busy at that time anyway on a special event???I would have thought it would be about the same crowd level wise on those days but according to reports, obviously not, Do People not like visiting parks on Sunday or something

<----looking forward to a *dry* closing weekend :-)

Gimme speed, height, airtime and plenty of LAUNCH!!!
The place was off the hook and it actually was quite comical. Fight Zone was so bottle-necked they finally got smart and made it only one-way. You had to start at the back of the park and walk toward MF. Being a woman, to see lines for the men's bathroom was priceless. We got more rides in this morning in two hours than we did all day yesterday.
Friday night was also fairly busy, but wasn't bad. We had a 40 minute wait for Dragster, which I was happy with. And the Dragster crew was kickin' it all weekend. I can honestly say I've never seen the park that busy before. It was just insane.
