Driving through heavy rains and four construction zones with every Truck in the free world cutting me off, I made it to CP at 11which was perfect timing.
Weather- Cloudy early, sunny later. Temp 65-70. Winds out of the south at 0-5 mph
Crowd- There was one?
Here we go!
Raptor, Seat 8-4, 5 minute wait.
Normally I don't hit Raptor 1st, but the line was so empty I just had to. That line would also be one of the longest of the day! Rain scared people away, and if it were not for some school on a physics field trip it would just be me and some fellow enthusiast in the park. Raptor was kicking today, very fast!
Magnum, 3 Laps, Ejector seat, 6-1, 4-1. 1 Train operation (Black)
MAGNUM WAS AWESOME TODAY. My trip in the ejector seat was my best ever; moley because the bar was hardly down at all and I made sure I kept it that way. It ran incredibly fast and for some reason the trims were not grabbing hard in the morning. Later it went down for a little, which caused a backup with only a 1-train operation. The backup may have been caused because the trims were not grabbing right, or giving false info to the CPU. One lap an op took a ride in the front and the next they busted out the stopwatch to time it. All I can say is it was FAST. I moved on because of the backup but would come back.
Gemini, 3 laps, Once in front, Walk ons. 1 side, 1 train operation.
First time I ever saw Gemini like that with only 1 train. Great rides, trims off. Moved on to other things because a Walk on for Gemini can happen any day.
Mean Streak-2 laps, Back, then 3-1. Walk Ons
I was impressed with my first trip in the back, smooth an actually had some airtime. Pretty sad though when you take banking turn and you go down against the bank. Next ride beat me severely.
Millennium Force-10 laps
2 1-2's, 2 5-1's, 2-5-4's, 7-2,1-2,3-2,6-2
WALK ON!!!!- 5 minute waits. 10-Minute wait for Maintnance Force
Yellow and Red Train's going.
That's right, on one of my trip I got in line and never stopped moving till I was staring a gate in face. Still having some issues, broke down once for about 10 minutes while I was sitting down then once for about a half hour (Glad I left line). Great ride as usual. For some reason I was getting nice air on the bunny hop. Still none of these was as great as my last ride the year before. Needs to get broken in I guess. I rode with one enthusiast from Britain and he was astounded on how smooth the thing was. If I ever have to wait more than 10 minutes for the thing again I will get upset;)
Mantis
Hit that after the Force went down.
Magnum, 11 laps,
Black Train
Various seats
All perfects walk ons with a 1-train operation. Got off, got back up in line In 2:40 and got back on. INCREDIBLY FAST TODAY!! Even with trims hitting harder, Maggie flew over the bunny hops. Days like this it's no wonder its always named the #1 coaster.
Raptor-3 laps 8-4, 7-1, 8-1. Walk On's
Raptor performed even better than in the morning. Grazy G's and very fast, I think I re-injured my knee in the Cobra Roll. Met fellow GTTP’r/Buzzer Corey (screen name rOlloCoast) and we sat in the back, I got the far right seat though. Poor Guy ;),

Great TR! I am sooooooooo jealous :)
Yeah, me too. But now we know to visit CP the day or two after it opens during the week. Only problem is that PKI only has weekend hours, same with Kennywood until May 11.
I wish PKD/PKI would open during the week and follow CP's example. Sure, they may not make a ton of money, but it's a nice gesture for people who want to fly in and visit.
Instead, they're waiting for school to let out.
Wonder if CP will do Millennium Madness again? There are red dates on their calendar. This was also walkon city for those who went.
It's Millennium Mania , and if it happens again, I will be there. I should scan my picture to show everybody the empty station AND the empty train that was on Magnum.
Can I begin to hate you now, Joe? ;)
