CP in September

I understand this isnt the best place to post this but I was wondering, from your experience, are the crowds good on a weekday in September or even Labor Day weekend?
Yeah.

One way of life is to just on a roller coaster.
Of course they are not open Weekdays after Labor day - except Friday nights.

My Labor Day experience at Cedar Point was good. It wasn't all that crowded at all. Of course this was in 1992, so....

My advice would be to go on Sunday the 11th or Sunday the 18th if you can. Those are traditionally very dead weekends. *** Edited 8/18/2005 6:34:18 PM UTC by DragonRider***

The weekends in September and especially October are not crowded at all, at least from my experiences.

Friday nights are the ideal time to go. Closing weekends are always a blast.

and Sunday, from me and my experiences, would be HIGHLY recommended.
Any Sunday at CP is a good day to go, especially in May, September, and October. This includes 1/2hr. waits on Dragster and MF at the right times.

Intamin AG, slightly ahead of our modernized times.

my labor day experience about 3 years ago was about as crowded as a Sunday in August, not terrible, but their are probably better days to go

I went to Cedar Point in September in 02 and 03 and it was pretty much slow all day longest waits I had were for MF and Rapot each were about 15 minutes. I love my experiences then because it gave me time to enjoy other things besides the coasters.

Dragster - Listen to the fellow posters. I absolutely agree that Sundays in May, Sept, and Oct are awsome times to go.

However, from my personal experience I do not feel that any Saturday in October for Halloweekends are good to go. The lines seem worse than the peak times in the summer.

However, that first Saturday Halloweekend...Sept. 24 I think..could be be good. Many high school students have Homecoming events that weekend.

IF you want a real treat. Go the final day of the season. Last year I was able to get on all of the costers in less than four hours.
