CP in 2002, just a suggestion

Well i know this is sorta unlikely, but i will be the first to say it. CP gets a looping woodie in 2002. Its possible.

CP in 2002, get to the point
Not with SOB. I would like a wooden, though.

June 20th, "I'm sprinting for Talon. Oh, wait! I won't have to."
I don't see any one buiding a looper-woodie in the near future, too many problems with SOB.

SFGAm: SCREAM. THRILL. REPEAT. Two New Coasters in 2001!
They should get a Vekoma Flying Dutchman.
That seems about all they need due to so many types of coasters they have.
Or mabey a B&M Sit down Multi looper !

id like the b+m sitdown mega looper but i have gotten way too many bad reports on those flying dutchmen. to me, they look like they have a short track with a bad layout. i do feel that they could get a new layout with unique features and inversions.

Actually FDs aren't as bad as they seem. The transitions are smooth and they are very fun. I have ridden stealth and i think that would make a great addition to CP. The only problem is SFWoA already has one. And we all know CP goes for originality in they're coasters. That is why I think a B&M mega looper would make a good addition to CPs world class coaster collection

Warning!: If I'm cranky...tell me and I'll blame it on hormones.
CP needs some of the new concept steel coasters... launched, flying, floorless (maybe the Seizmic version)...heck, even a wild mouse. They are not going to copy PKI's idea.
Take this one over to the rumors section where it belongs...

Cedar Point will not get a looping wooden coaster in 2002, simply because it is not practical. They have enough trouble maintaining the ones they have, so why would they want another one to take care of, only with the problems of Son of Beast? A woodie for 2002, yes, with a loop, no.

I would also like to see a new woodie at the park, but not a looper, leave that to the steel coasters. They need a woodie with lots of air time , I would like to see a ride like Ghost Rider come to CP.
The ywill not be getting a Flying coaster, SFWoA is wayyy too close to CP for them to get one. Looping woodies anre't all that cool, however a Ghostrider type ride would really rock!

Originality - since 1994 what was the last original concept coaster the park has installed? MF maybe since it is the first 300 footer otherwise all they did is take a great idea (particularly SFGAM) and make them bigger.

what original concept did they introduce in 94???

At least ALL of Cedar Points coasters ARE originals, and not clones of one another...

That is probably the most key thing in the industry.

Why travel to a different park when they have the same coasters with just a slightly different theme (ie: countless Mind Erasers & Boomerangs).

Cedar Point may use similar ideas, obviously... but the layout of the track has always been original, and that's what I'd travel hundreds of miles for... originality!

I don't care if it's another hyper, another looper, another stand-up... it's different, and by a lot of people's standards... it's FUN!!!
CP WILL NOT get a hyper woodie(esp. with a loop) in 2002 or even anytime soon. And I love how people make a few minor problems(which were resolved VERY early last season) in SOB, like it was something out of this World and continues to persist. I can't even remember the last time SOB was closed whole or even half a day. Some time in June 2000? Don't blow things out of proportion when you don't know the whole story. Anyway, they wouldn't choose a hyper woodie, because MS was a bigger bomb to them than SOB to PKI(so far) and SOB is less than 4 hours away. I could definitely see an huge out-and-back, but a twister is doubtful. I can't believe MS still rakes in the crowds. CP needs a big steel sitdown looper twister. I would say to remove DT, move the ferris wheel and put it right on the waterfront. A woodie would look excellent there too, but there is(at least for what I suggested above) a space problem right there. A little rearrangement would do the trick. At least it would spread out the crowds a little more.

Everything above was my opinion. If you disagree, please respond in an intelligent fashion. But before you post,I warn you that some people say I'm just too smart to understand. Please take that into consideration.
Deja-Vu, CP's original concept in '94 was the cobra roll on the Raptor, an element that is very abundunt amongst inverted coasters today.
I think a 225ft. Intamin woody would be perfect. I don't know where it would go, but a woody is what the point needs and that new Intamin woody, Colussos, looks really good.

I think that CP needs a nice CCI/or GCI woodie. Multilooper? Nah CP already has awesome steel rides. They desperately need a woodie.

-------------
PCW needs something taller than a boomerang
If cp did get a wood hyper I think I would be out and back and it would be steel structured. Sob is a lot smoother know pki did something to it and it aged a bit. I think they will go with a steel structured because they seem to be smoother and have less problems. I am hoping though they go with a large out and back , painted white cci woody that could go along the midway.
