The Ride was awesome as I expected it would be and defanetly lives up too all it has been hyped up to be. The Launch is mind numming, the drop is breathtaking and the spped is unbelivabely fast.
We got off the ride and got our on ride photo because it looked so funny and headed for the restroom as my uncle needed to go badly after witing in line for TTD. We than decided to hit magnum, but decided not too because we neede to get a locker and the line was wee over 3/4 of an hour, which is what the sign posted. It was 4:15 at this time...while walking back to the rfront of the park we noticed that TTD's train was sitting halfway down the launch travck and was not moving ( wonder if the people got whiplash) . So we shruged and thought it was just a breakdown . we kept on walking and noticed that WT was not running...and looked over to see raptors train stuck on the block brakes, The skyway stuck, Millenium Force stuck at the top of the hill and Magnum also stuck, along with all the lights and other rides stopped. Thats when we realised that the power had gone out but thought nothing much of it untill someone said he had called his realatives in NYC and found out that they had no Power. With this some one else said that he called his realtives in Syracuse and they had no Power....with this we left the park seeing that something major had occured and the park had No idea what was wrong. We walked to the car and listend to the radio saying that it would be days before power was restored and all that crap...so we thought it best to leave for home. We got to Sandusky airport at about 5:15 and left at roughly 5:30...arriving home at Syracuse at about 8:30.
After the entire ordeal I can say one thing
After flying 3 and 1/2 hours to CP and back
and Riding only one ride
That one ride
Was one Hellvah ride

glad to see you enjoyed dragster, and im glad to see you rode it. i was there on the 13th and we rode it 3 times...the first time it was 2 1/2 hrs because of a 1 1/2 hr breakdown......the second time was 45 minutes because it was running as smoothly as you said it was when you visited....and the third time it was 1 1/2 hrs with an hour breakdown.
plus, when we went and rode Millennium Force, the line was 2hrs 15minutes running just as smoothly as it always does.....ive never had to wait over 1hr 45min for Millennium even including breakdowns....i just found that odd. i hate lines, but at cp, its worth it, lol.....
sorry if i just rambled on there.

My friend and I also waited a little over two hours on Dragster but much of that was downtime. 2 or 3 trains would launch then it would break down, etc. By the early evening (about 7pm when I left) it seemed to be running rather smoothly, and I decided to use my *pass* that I got from Coastermania. I waited about 15 minutes. Sweet!
