CP 9-26 Great park, Great staff, Great day.

Associated parks:
None

What an absolutely great day. I left work an hour early and headed out to The Point. I arrived at the park to find an empty parking lot. I parked and headed over to the marina entrance just in time to hear the National Anthem played. The line moved quickly and I was in the park sprinting to MF. I was able to get on the second train out of the station, the blue train. I ran around and got back in line and got right back into the blue train again. I was able to get 6 laps in by 10 am. WOW!

The whole day was like this. I have never logged in as many rides in one day at CP as I did this day. Everything was running smoothly and even TTD was running well. This is my second trip in a row that TTD was basically problem free. Maybe the bugs are finally worked out.

WT was down most of the day if not all day. I did not see it running at all but it may have at some point in the day. I rode a lot of the flats, which I haven’t done, in a long time.

The haunted houses were not bad, but they could have been a little scarier. I liked the old ride graveyard, I didn’t notice it last year and think that it is new.

Later in the day, I lost my wallet on Magnum and the crew stayed about an hour and a half looking for it in the dark after the park closed and I really want to thank them for their efforts. They were unable to find it so a nice lady at park operations loaned me $20 so that I would be able to pay the tolls on way home. Not only is CP the best park in the world, they have the best employees in the world. They did find my wallet Monday and mailed it to me.

Thanks again everyone at CP. *** Edited 9/29/2004 12:26:12 PM UTC by CP ismyhome***

They gave you 20 bucks for the tolls? Wow, that was very cool of them. Also to try to find it after closing.

On the flip side CP....you gotta get those zipper pockets! :) I would never tell anyone to get a fanny pack.

Please wait for the ride to come to a full and complete stop. Push down, then pull up on your lap bar. Thank and enjoy the rest of your day at CoasterBuzz.

I'm liking the fanny pack idea, I have lost my cell phone at GL, my wallet came out at Dorney once and now at CP, I can see my keys going next. I already use a fanny pack when I visit new parks so that I can carry my camera around now my wallet, keys and cell will be in it too. My mom said that she could sew some velcro into my pocket also, I may let her do that.

I really only needed $6 to get me home, but all the lady had was a $20 and she gave it to me. I can't thank her enough.

Were you sporting a Nitro t-shirt during your visit? I only remember one guy riding my ride that many times during Joe Cool and he had a Nitro shirt on.
