Woo-Hoo!! Favorite park at a great price(Corporate day at the park).
The park attendance was probably half of a normal Saturday in the summer. After reasoning a bit, I think it's because it was the weekend before a long holiday weekend. Many vacationer's probably taking advantage of the time off to go someplace other the America's Roller Coast. Anyway, this meant 1/2 hour wait for WT at 5pm. A 1 hour wait for Mantis and MF at 3. 10 minutes for Magnum at 11am. Raptor was 45 min at 7 including the wait for a front seat. What a deal!!
I thought some of the ride ops were kinda rude today. Particularly in Camp Snoopy. The sign reads "Responsible Person" not "16 years or older" One op harrassed my 15 nephew before letting him take my 3yo son on a ride. A couple other ops just didn't seem their normal happy selves. Hope it was just the heat and not a sign of unhappy employees.
Magnum was rough this morning. WT was a thrill, but I can imagine getting tired of it eventually. My wife loved it though, so you can bet I'll be riding for many years. She giggles while she rides. I love it. As always, Raptor has proven to be the best ride in the park. As exciting as it is to ride MF, to me, there is just nothing that compares to sensation of flying that Raptor offers.
Have a great summer,
Welcome back Raptor riders. How was your flight?

84 coasters in Track Record!! Hypersonic XLC # 100 in July. Waiting for the 305 foot drop tower in 2003. Thank you PKD.
If Independence Day was on Monday or Tuesday, you wouldn't have had quite the same luck! :)
Now, how it will be this coming weekend is anyone's guess.

I worked in Camp Snoopy one day last year (boy was I ever happy to go back to Magnum at 8PM that night! :)) and I know that the responsible person is supposed to be 16 or older. If the signs don't say that, then I agree with you that they should.
