Yes I'm slow getting around to typing my trip reports from my vacation, but better late than never.

The day started out with a chilly rain. With perfect timing, the rain stopped just as we parked 30 minutes before opening. Eventually the clouds cleared and it was a nice day, though too cool for the water.

25 minutes before opening time they opened the gates and most of the coasters were already operating. This was the day at CP that we all dream about. Lines were short all day. MF - 25 minutes. Wicked Twister - 15 minutes. Raptor in the afternoon peak 18 minutes. Most of the other coasters were 5 minutes or less.

MF and WT were great. WT was my first LIM impolse and I really enjoyed it. I thought that the air on MF was a little better than I remembered it. Mantis a little rougher than I remembered, but not bad. Wildcat was a little smoother than I remembered. The changes to Mean Streak have improved it a lot, but it's still not going to be ranked highly. Magnum was still its excellent self. Blue Streak, Disaster Transport, Gemini, and Raptor seemed unchanged.

I also got the Wildest ride on an Octopus that I have ever experinced. I've ridden them often before, but never like this. While my daughters sat in a car that wouldn't budge, my car spun like a NASA centrifuge. It had BIG G's and big air time.

The only major glitch of the day was a brief rain storm in the afternoon that took down MF, Magnum, and one side of Gemini for extended periods. I have no idea why, but they were all down at the same time.

Good Trip Report its cool that the lines were short.
