CP-6/12 - CoasterBuzz

Went to CP for last day of school. Arrived around 11. Went straight to MF, everyone wanted to ride it. Waited about an hour sat in car 6, row 1. First drop is 2nd best, rest of ride is my #30. After that i went to Coasters, WHOA!! very crowded so i went to the stand directly across from Coasters. It was ok, but not as good as Coasters. Strange thing:Straws were nowhere to be found the whole day. Walked over to Disaster Transport, waited about 20 minutes. Got the glasses, ok effects, not 3-D. The best effect was the hallway with the checkered floor. The theming is pretty lame, sort of like a mix between Hulk and a shoe factory. The ride seemed very short this year, maybe it's because we waited so long or something but the ride only felt 15 seconds long. As you've probably read WICKED TWISTER IS CLOSED!!! Don't know why, but it wasn't being worked on. WT looks really out of place... After that we ventured over to Magnum, waited 15 minutes, gave an okay ride, but one of my friends in the train after us said it was really rough. Went on Gemini, 10 minute wait, fun, exactly what a ride should be. Went over to blue streak, waited 10 minutes, running much better than last year, and the year before, and the year before. Went on Turnpike Cars, fun, my car was screwed up though. Then we went on Mantis, worst ride in the park. 1 1/4 minute wait, longest wait of the day. Riddler's Revenge is so much better. It feels like this ride was meant to be a sit-down coaster (what it should be changed to) rather than a stand-up. Hurts legs very bad. Then it was 4:15 so we had to head back to the bus.

Overall it was pretty crowded for an early june weekend. Park was ok, its been better and worse.

Glad you had fun! Thanks for writing us a good TR! WT is closed due to structual problems, ride it this year or never....

hmmm...i'll try again, it was just a standard frontpage web component. Does anyone know if there is some sort of fp patch for ie6?

Please tell me you weren't in the group with the neon green shirts. "ClaSs fo 2006!11!11 8ht graidrs ROOL!!1" They were all pretty annoying ;) .
