CP 6/1 TTD Running Smoothly

Associated parks:
None

Top Thrill Dragster was open consistantly all day. I was able to get three rides on TTD (2 hours, 1 hour and 15 minutes, and a little under an hour), two rides on MF (45 minutes, and 30 minutes), plus a 10 minute wait on WT, and a near walk on on Maggie, Raptor, Mean Streak, Gemini, Corkscrew and Mantis. It was a great day to be at Cedar Point. Wonderful weather and the crowds took the day off.

About TTD, there were no substantial break downs that I noticed all day. A few 10 minute deals now and again, but they were very quick to get it working. They still aren't running the yellow train, but they are moving trains in pairs effectively. Still a good minute between launches in most cases, but capacity was much better. About an hour and a half wait from the vending machines. Something else odd though, none of the count down lights (the little ones and the big ones on the tower) were working today and the engine and tires are still missing from the back of the trains.

All in all TTD is coming together very nicely. This was one of my better visits to the park.

See ya on the Midways.

I was there on Sunday and experienced the short waits, too. I wish it could be like that all year round. I, however, was on the Gold TTD train during Joe Cool ERT in the morning. They took it off shortly after I rode. That ride will really get through the line when they are able to run 6 trains.
I was there also.. If you saw any group of people wearing CLP green polo's... That was my cousins and I.. I was the tallest one in the group. BTW, TTD kicks so much arse!! Best ride ever!
