I just hope WWL isn't missed too much. I don't know CP very well, but if WWL has any of the backing that Antique Cars had at PKI, it can't be good that it will probably be removed.

Inversions, but still small and fun.
My opinion, I like to see that Cedar Point is adding more flats... but why a non-spinning maXair? Oh well. Not going to lose any sleep over it.

Why do so many people want to see a flyer? I mean, I've been on both the Vekoma and B&M variety and I could do without both. Interesting gimmick, but they mostly suck to ride. No thanks.
To tell you the truth, it's because I've never been on one before ;)
But I think it would be a lot of fun if it was located in Frontiertown and weaved in and out of the MF island.
And Gonch, I also think they suck because SFA has one, and, you know, they suck too... ;)
I hope it's not just a fad [the flying coasters] because I'd like to see a new Vekoma flyer appear somewhere else (anywhere) with a new original layout.
As for Cedar Po!nt, I'd really like to see more than 1 ride next year if it's going to replace Wild Water Landing. One of their 3 water-rides is going to be replaced with a swinging ride... that'll be missed (by me), as they had two log rides at one point (before Raptor), and now they will have none.
As for CP and 2007, I have a hunch we will see a new coaster. Think about it, 2007 will mean 4 years since the placement of CP's newest coaster, and that's too long for CP not to put one in. It's not going to be a flyer. CP seems to pride themselves on instaling unique rides, or variations of rides. If they do put in a flyer, it won't be a Six Flags clone, it'll be a good one. I think what will go in will be along the lines of a 4-D coaster, or a coaster that breaks the 500 foot mark. CP has an act for being the first to break each mark since Magnum, so why should they forget about being the first to hit 500?
I plan on going in 2007, so there better be something new.

I disagree. I really liked X Flight at Geauga Lake. There was not one thing I didn't like about it. Good horseshoe, loop, double twist and helix.

Who here thinks that CF has taken interest in the B&M dive machine now that BGT has Sheikra? I've read nothing but raves about that ride. Would make for another mine themed attraction in Frontiertown.
There has been some grumblings that BGT did indeed put some sort of exclusivity clause in the contract that prevents B&M from building a dive machine in the US for a certain amount of time. This would make sense to me but take all of it with a grain of salt.
If it did come to pass just don't count on any below grade drops at Cedar Point. I'm sure they could engineer it, despite the high water table (think SFNE's Superman) but we're talking plenty of moolah here for not a ton of benefit. Not that CP doesn't mind throwing money around when need be, who knows. :)

I would rather see them have *some* sort of log flume, either WWL or another one, going forward. It's one of the rides in the park that the entire family can ride together---if it's just replaced with one with (what I assume will be) a significant height requirement, that'd be unfortunate. It's especially unfortunate in that area of the park, because WWL and Antique Cars are just about the only things back there for the younger set.
So, if WWL is going to the Ride Graveyard, I'm hoping another family-friendly ride goes in back there soon.
