Hahaha. No chance of that. As it is the offices get their connection from an inadequate wireless connection on Space Sprial, which they apparently get for free through a trade with someone to put another antenna up there. Beats paying a couple grand for a T-1 I guess.

Yea, CP is definitely a bit behind the times when it comes to the whole computing arena. You should see the nasty terminals they have at various employee gates (at the park, at the Commons, etc).

Would that contribute to the credit card validation problem they seem to have a lot while I'm there? :)
Actually, those are probably on land-lines, but I haven't ever engineered one of those, so I'm really not sure.

Hello,
I remember last year seeing that the Radisson Bay Harbor Inn (right outside the park at State Route 6 (Cleveland Avenue) and the Cedar Point Causeway) had installed high speed data lines in all the rooms. That is the hotel that has a TGIFridays attached to it. Note: you cannot book it as a CP hotel, but you can book it from the Radisson site. Hope this helps.
yep the Radisson does have High speed internet access provided by CAIS Internet's OverVoice Service. Speeds up to 50x faster than a 56k modem.
I always check out GeekTels before booking a room
