CP - 9/29/01

There is no possible way I can explain what a blast I had, but I'll give you some highlights.

MF- 2 laps right off the bat in about 15 mins. The first train was empty, and I wasn't very impressed with the low speed. Second time, full train, very nice run. Came back around 11 pm and rode one more in the back, insane airtime! The fog and the lights were really cool.
Maggie- Wow, Magnum was running great today. Altogether we had 5 laps. The night ride was the best! I am jealous of those who get to ride this all the time!
Raptor- Raptor was HAULING! The best rides I have ever had! I will never get over the back right rides. Nice paint job. 15 min wait at the end of the night. Altogether 7 laps.
Gemini- The first time we rode they were only running one side, and some of the rows were roped off...not as fun. We came back later and they were racing. Very smooth, nice rides.
Mean Streak- I was the only one in my group that had ridden it, so they talked me into riding it for them. To tell the truth, it wasn't all that bad compared to the other rides I've had. The brakes did not make me happy, but overall it was ok.
Blue Streak- Very nice ride, maximum airtime. Hardly any wait for this in the evening.
Cedar Creek Mine Ride- What can I say, we had a newbie with us. Same old same old for me.
Vertigo- Insane! We chose big bang, very cool. We were all for riding it again, except for the money issue.

The whole Halloweekends effect was very cool. The park was really decked out. I don't think one could walk 75 yards without seeing a skeleton, they must have had hundreds! I loved all the fog at night, and the frontier trail with all the costumed people walking around.

This day was just awesome. I got to meet up with some buzzers: Arrow Guy, GregLeg, Incline Looper, Loriu, Millennium Force, Raven-Phile, and Rideman. It was really fun meeting you all! For those of you that were at Vertigo at 3, I am sorry I missed it, I just couldn't get my group moving to get there on time. Hope the rest of your day was as fun as mine.

If it makes you feel better Kara some of us are jealous that you get to ride a real wooden coaster all of the time. ;)
