Court rules activist can protest at Six Flags Marine World

An animal rights activist plans to protest at Marine World's front gate Memorial Day weekend after a judge ruled the theme park's rules violated his constitutional rights. Alfredo Kuba, a member of the Silicon Valley branch of In Defense of Animals, filed suit in April 2005 after two confrontations with Six Flags Marine World security and Vallejo police. Kuba names park employees, police officers and the city of Vallejo as defendants, claiming in two 2004 incidents he was assaulted, battered, falsely arrested and imprisoned while on public property.

Sounds like what happend to Disney awhile back (minus the injury and lawsuits) when they opened AK. Of course it helps owning miles and miles of land all around. ;)
There have been protestors at Marine World every single year for as long as I can remember and I made my first trip in 1990 at the ripe age of 2. Usually they're inside the park, not outside the front gate.
That's ridiculous. So there's going to be some idiot protesters badgering you when you're waiting in line to get into the park?
So can they ban the protesters from on park property (front gate, parking lot) but must permit on the sidewalk or are the entire park grounds classified as public property? The park has the right to control the enviroment on land they lease I thought. Many parks ban the distribution of literature. They also have the responsibility to protect customers from harassment by people who are not a part of the park. This goes to any area of free speech disputes, whether animal rights, kkk, abortion protestors, etc. Are these groups permitted to harass the park's clientle as well?
