couple of sfmm ?'s

I'm finally headed out to sfmm next month and just had a few qestions. Does anyone know if they have any public transportation that goes up and down the huge hill that magic mountain sits on and if anynone knows of a good reassonably priced hotel that is closed to the park. Thanks in advance

theres an incline next to revolutionbehind carousel, no one really uses it, but it saves a lot of energy, theres also a monorail.

Theres a residence inn in valenica, didnt stay there, but others ive stayed at are decent. I think the rates under 150, but might be higher due to the crowded season pricing.

Check out the Travelodge on Sierra Highway about 10 mins from SFMM... We paid $50 a night for a king bed and a kitchenette, not to mention a pool. Nice place, nice price.
well i dont know about public transpertation that goes up the hill but it is pretty easy to walk up. Theres a place right at the base of the hill, the hilton: garden inn it is a very nice plave and for the price (around $125.00) its worth it. They might even have a shuttle that goes up it, but like i said its like five steps away from the hill.
^^ the monorail hasn't been open forever
Thanks for th tips guys I checked out the travelodge for when I am goiing its about 50 which is what I was looking to spend so I am going to stay there. Anyone know if they will be closing X on wednesdays during summer season too because I am going for two days and one of them will be on a wednesday.
