Countdown to anticipation

Ok, not that I wanted to be the first to post here, but now that we are approching the double digits (as in the countdown) what is it about the 2000 season (not to mention the 310' monster) that excites and terrifies you the most??

For me, the thought of that 300' dive into the first overbanked turn just makes me quivver all over!! (not to mention the lack of midcourse brakes just makes me wonder, will this thing ever stop???) Especially after seeing the recent photos posted over at cedarpoint.com!!

I agree with your statement on MFORCE. I can't even phanthom what that first turn will be like after dropping over 300 feet!

It's amazing how much focus is being given to that first turn since it went up about half way and the supports are visible. I have to say that hanging nearly upside down at that height with a lap bar is going to be insane!

Why don't they just call that turn an inversion? That is gonna be the BEST part on the whole ride i think. The drop is gonna be cool and everything, but that turn will be better! That first turn is just crazy! I wish it was May!!

Can't call it an inversion, because you don't actually go upside-down. You are overbanked at 122 degrees (though it may seem you're upside-down), now if you are overbanked at 180 degrees, then you can call it an inversion

Yeah, its gonna be really fun, but I still think that the 182ft. hill will be really fun once the vegitation grows around the coaster.

Riding this baby at night!!!! just as Raptor and magnum are a different ride so will be MF :) Man this is going to be intense.
I wonder how good the bugs will taste at 92 mph?
I think the ride will be at its prime 1 - 2 years from now once the vegitation grows (if they allow it) around the coaster on the island. What do you think?

I look at the pictures now of MF and keep thinking "I am terrified!" You all know how exciting the climb up Magnum's 1st hill is-imagine the climb up MFs! (can I safely assume with the elevator lift system we wont hear the farmilar clink clink clink of a chain pulling us up?) You think the wind blows strongly up Magnums hill-imagine MFs!! Yes I get goosebumps!
And about "that" turn-I think we'll be going so fast we probably wont even notice we are almost upside down!!
man I can NOT wait to ride this thing!!!
(maybe I will have to just ignore Raptor the first couple rides and check this new one out!)
(sorry Raptor!!)

Welcome back Raptor riders-how was your flight?
Does anyone know what the inclination angle of MF is compared to Magnum's? It seems that it's so steep that it might be a strange angle to get a good look at the park.

It's 45 degrees up, compared to an accepted norm of around 30 degrees.

I gotta agree with Jeff. They will do anything to get money from you. Also, I like looking at the pics on the screen even though I have never bought one.
