Could THIS be possible?

I know Jeff hates rumors BUT..I had to post this cause I really don't believe it will ever be true..but I'll try not to mention names..

A certain park is rumored to...get this:

this coaster is expected to be the world’s fastest, tallest, continuous circuit coaster ever built. We’re talking about an Intamin Rocket Coaster that may shoot you out at 110mph up a vertical 420 foot tall mountain and straight down the other side.

Now, tell me this folks..A MOUNTAIN? And what park now has an Intamin Rocket Coaster..is that what Knotts has now-Xcelerator? Wouldn't the g-forces be high? And building a man-made mountain? Pleeze.....

Yes, Xcellerator is an Intamin Rocket Coaster.

Its Cedar Point. It has been all over the forum already. you are a little too late. It is entirely possible the g forces would not be that high if they designed it right and about the mountain. It is a evtravagant comparison to its height.

I think you've been over at GTTP too much. That's what everyone seems to think CP is getting.

If a ride like that did exsist, then it probably wouldn't seem to interesting because the ramp leading to the vertical section would probably be 1/4 to 1/2 of the total tophat element.

I always thought of as Son of Beats as a "mountain".

I think when they using mountain as a metaphor. Like as tall as a mountain.

Rumors are so funny sometimes! :) I just wait for the announcement.

How accurate is Screamscape? I've heard of them to b the most reliable place for rumors but this new "mountain" ride seems a bit far-fetched.

A little speculation is fun, but just because some Web site posts something doesn't make it true...

But then again, every time I say something about what Cedar Point is getting it gets its own topic over on GTTP. People will believe anything they read on the Internet.
