My favorite is the photo of my wife, son and myself on Magnum. It was our first time to ride it. My son, who is 10, looks absolutely terrified, but he loved it and we rode it several more times during our stay. Another favorite is me on Mantis. I didn't think i could make my face look like that!
CPGenius, is it the shirt that shows the first drop and has like space as the background of it? If so, I have that too. Everyone says I'm pretty dumb for getting it, but hey, it's a memoir to me.
Why does everyone seem to collect shot glasses? LOL. I do too actually. Plus, I usually always get all of the onride pictures on every coaster I ride each year. Sometimes I pretend to be asleep on the coaster as it takes the pic. Pretty dumb but gets laughs from surrounding folk. Just something for me to remember :)

My favorite collectiable is the security pass thing I got for paying 10 bucks for the pass holder preview for Kraken. I also enjoy the picture of me and my Dad on Steel Force(Best Steel Coaster in the World!), with my Dad cringing in fear and me laughing with my hands up high!

I have a small glass my father won from a game at Bertrand Island Park (defunct - was in N. NJ). I used to love going to that place. I also have a chunk of wood from the Wildcat Coaster after they tore it down in the mid eighties.
I have a Batman - The Ride Pen from Opening day at SFGAM as well as a opening day mug from Shockwave at SFGAM.

The coolest collectiable is a Steel Phantom T-shirt.
I have started collecting on-ride photos of me. I have some pretty funny ones, like when I was on the Magnum this year I cupped my hands over my mouth and pretended to be puking, my family gets a kick out of it every time they see it. I was disappointed when I went to Kennywood a few days ago because the only ride there with an on-ride photo was the log flume. I didn't understand this, but I figured i might as well buy my photo as a momento of going there.
Cool? Probably not, but I have a sizeable collection of coaster and park mugs. My son took my button collection, so I don't have it anymore. I still have my old ACE vest with patches, but as they are getting harder to find, I haven't been able to keep it up very well.
Boyfriend (Dutchman) collects double old-fashioned [or other; he has some hurricanes and a couple beers] glasses, with plans to set up a bar eventually when we get a bigger house.
My favorite collection, though, is my collection of Christmas tree ornaments -- I have one WILD Christmas tree! If the park doesn't have an ornament (WoF didn't have one this year, I noticed, although there were two new ones at Kennywood [Thunderbolt and carousel] and an SOB ornament at PKI), I get a keychain or something and try to make one. Some pieces I have like that are rather creative . . .
I usually just stick to the on ride photos, my most treasured of me on my first ride on the Force, arms up high, smiling for the camera because I saw the photo-op. I searched high and low for models (working or non-working) of CP or other parks coasters, but I can't find one for the life of me, just pages on how to build them, and believe me I'm still in the process, and it's not the most beautiful thing, but I'll figure it out. Any way now that I have gone WAY WAY WAY off subject. hehe

Ride 'Till you drop
Michigan's Adventure has a pretty cool shot glass with all their coasters on it, shivering Timbers is at the top, of course.
Not much on shot glasses, but SFKK has a great one with all their coasters on it. One of the few non-generic Six Flag things in the park.
I haven't bothered with collecting things in the past, but this year I decided to start collecting magnets. They're small, they're easy to store, and they're cheap ;)

I haven't been collecting coaster or park stuff for long, but i have my new Medusa t-shirt from Marine World that I absolutely love. I also have started to collect on-ride photos of myself and my fiancee on coasters. We have two so far, one of us together on Roar as I'm pushing her off of me. She had her hands up and when we hit the turn she fell on me and I had to push her back up and the photo was taken. It's classic. I also have a keychain photo of me on Boomerang with my mouth wide open in a cool screaming pose. It's another classic. Peace. :)
I figured I'd revive this topic.

I now have a block of wood from Ghostrider from when they retracked the helix. Stamped and all.

Jack, who can't wait for opening day 2001...
i have a friend who does mantinence at sfgadv and he was able to swipe me an old sensor off of medusa. i also collect on-rides and my favorate is my mantis when my legs gave out after the corkscrew, and im collapsed on my bike seat 'note that was the most painful experience on a coaster for me, if you get my drift' lol.
