Cool Idea For coasters

Wouldn't be cool if for exapmle it was a B&M and it ran 3 trains, 1 Stand up , 1 Floorless, and 1 Sitdown Speed train.

That would probably be a first of its kind.

that would be very cool, to not know which coaster you'd be riding until you got to the station!

people would do repeat rides all the time, it'd be good for business, that's for sure!

Ya, but it wouldn't be cool if you stood in line 10 times and continued to have the misfortune of getting the same train.

Indiana Beach

well that is true. I never thought about that.
What's the coaster in Japan with both a stand-up and a sitdown train?

Don't look down-Oblivion
I don't know of that one. What is it's name ?
Ok, that is impossible to have a standup/sit down, and a floorless on the same track. Sit Downs and StandUps can run together but a Floorless has to have it's own track. Floorless coaster's have those special retractable floors on them. The only way to make your idea work is to have 3 different stations, and a transfer track to direct each car onto the track. <--Do you get that?
You would only need two stations on for the floorless, and then you could do what Xflight does transfer from brakes to staion, station to lift.

Well, that could be easily solved by seperating the line into what train you wanted to ride on. A set up kinda like Gemini at Cedar Point.
I remember a while back when someone posted this idea, the only problem was what was mentioned about the floorless train needing the retractable floor. I'm sure that it could be worked around though...

About the retractable floor, they could be left down while the stand-up and sit-down trains are in the station. I have an idea, a train with both stand-up & sit-down seats.

The Original Duke From Danimation!
Too confusing for the ride ops.
Here is what PT300 is talking about. I think it has the same layout as Shockwave @ PKD.
Well, you could have a different queue for the different trains or just do what most racers do combined the queue until a certain point, then split the lines up according to train type...
I'll summarize what RC! magazine has to say about Star Jet at Washuzan Highland: Togo, layout like King Cobra at PKI, two trains, two names.  Backhanger (sp?) is a yellow train, backward-facing and sitdown.  Standing Coaster is a blue train, and obviously has Togo two-across stand up cars.  Ride has two separate queues, and alternates departures...I'm guessing it's like the station(s) for the Vekoma flyers.

Could it run 4 trains, 2 floorless,1 stand up, 1 sit down. But 2 stations, 1 with floorless, other with stand up & Sit down Would it run with 4 trains ?

Ya, but then you would lose the coolness of not know what ride you would be on until you got to the station.

a smart thing to do would have the different rows have the different seats.

row 1: sit down, row 2: stand up, Row 3: floorless
i would say make each train different but that would be hard with the floors in the station.

Millennium Force....it has its ups and downs.

That would be Awesome !! And it would look COOL too !!
What about inverted and sitdown!  Use Intamin box track, the supports that stick out of the side.  The stations could be on top of each other. ;)
