The shame is that the land the park on was recently sold and whats left of the old park will probably be torn down to make way for the new project that is going in. I am not sure what all they are planning. I was there a few years ago and you can barely see anything because of all the overgrowth now.

There was a show on Discovery Chanel (or similar) that was all about what the Earth would look like if people suddenly dropped off the face of the earth. This would have made a good section of that show. They did a segment on a park in Russia that was scheduled to open 3 days after what turned out to be the Chernobyl Meltdown. Creepy stuff.
