Last night I went to Jazzland and saw about 7 or 8 red rental overseas containers. Now I do not expect this to be a new coaster as it is too early for this. Maybe it's a used coaster or ride, I'm not sure. Perhaps it could be merchandise and equipment for the "Six Flagsizing" of Jazzland. I have no idea what's in them but I guess we'll all find out sooner or later. My best bet would be equipment for the new show. Next time I go I will take pictures.

I REALLY doubt that it would take 7 or 8 of those shipping containers for merchandise. B&M by my calculations only uses about 200 track pieces at most for a 3500 foot long coaster. with the space in those containers, about 4 or 5 of those containers could be for track, 2 for supports, and 1 for trains, and other parts.
I am using B&M as an example, because they have some of the longer/larger track in the industry, but until those containers are opened, there is no clue what is in them.

FYI...rides do not come fully assembled (for the most part) How else should they ship rides if not in containers? Carnivals travel all around the country, hauling their rides in Semi's. (and flatbeds) I am not speculating that is what is in the containers, it could be anything.
Hopefully something new & exciting!

Six Flags, the only chain of parks that can manage to have stacking with a one train operation.
Ok here's my latest fix on the situation. Jazzland has said that in the near future (between 2002-2004) it plans to build a major attraction. I believe park has said that it is satisfied with their selection of flat rides. Also I'm starting to believe it is not Six Flags merchandise because Jazzland will probably not be turned into a Six Flags park until 2004. I think it would be a bit too soon for that. And also I noticed some other items scattered around the containers. I believed one was something about Dancing to the 50's. It could be theming, it could be for something else, it could be completely unrelated to the containers who knows. And I do not know if this is the final amount of containers. I'm not familiar but do they deliver all the containers for a coaster at the same time?
Additionally why would merchandise be delivered to the parking lot way to the back far from the park? I believe the merchandise is delivered down the staff road the the storage shed. That would be a very odd place to put something like that.
