Construction Pics of Zinga at HW

I was searching for a website that had construction pictures of Holiday World and I found this website. The crazy thing is the slide isn't a circle, it's more of an oval shape. Weird huh?

Check it out @

Going for 100+ rides on Legend this year.

Nice Pics! I can't wait until SRM!

Actually...the tunnel part of the slide *is* round...those early shots were of the end pieces--the very beginning of the tunnel and then the transition to the funnel part of Zinga. That site's webmaster, Paul Drabek, contacted me asking about this and then included the correct info in his latest batch of photos. (He lives here in town and take photos from the highway every couple of weeks.)

Thanks, Paula

Paul has a great website, and takes great photos. I haven't seen him and Carrie since PPP in 2001. Long time! Great people.

This thing sounds amazing. I really can't wait for my first SRM trip this year. Waterpark ERT? I guess I better up my running and weight-lifting regimen... ;)

Thanks Paula for clearing that up for me. I can't wait for the final product.
I remember talking to him, I think during the Raven DSC shoot in 2001. All I remember is him saying something to the effect of "How could anyone choose The Legend over raven" (not a direct quote), since The Legend was much more "physically challenging" (again, not a direct quote, his verbiage was much more disparaging). Heck notice on the site the lack of pics of The Legend.

I didnt have much else to say to him after that :)
