Construction never seems to stop in Southern California

Magic Mountain continues to work on X's queue and station area. Some landscaping is now in place along with most of the hand rails. Deja Vu has received warning stickers on the back of all cars, much like those on SFOG's.

Knott's is ramping up construction on VertiGo. The three towers for the ride have arrived. Halloween Haunt preparations are gearing up with the Haunt about a month away. The Alien Attack maze almost looks complete already!

I'm glad to see SFMM has added some landscaping, and more trees which is always nice. X may be in it's own new section of the park after all, because I don't think those trees look like they belong in the desert, unless they are really green wheeping willows. I really hope the park decides to landscape underneath the ride, but there is always the chance of a gardner being hit by the train like on boulder dash. I'm hoping for the best.
Well, I love landscaping. That makes the ride what it is. I hope it opens soon. About KBF, I hope to ride Vertigo when it opens, because it seems like a cool thing to do, plus I can't wait til the Halloween Haunt opens because it's real fun to go on those nights, plus it's a good thing to spend money on. Rock on California!
how tall is the raven turn of X anyway?? im just thinking since X goes almost 80mph its gotta be pretty freakin tall, and possibly break volcano's highest inversion record...

Great pics...As always. Cant wait for my trip!!

Dayuum, Your HOT!
Keep the pics coming ,nice work Twisted Rails my number #1 west cost update!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
True that iggy!!!

Anyway,  It seems to me that they are going to do something underneath X cause they would be very stupid not to, considering all that would be underneath us is dirt.  Can you imagine flying into a DIRT hole and not being able to enjoy the rest of the ride cause you have sand in your eyes?  To me that would be unpleasent.

Looks pretty sweet!

Got a problem with RWB/MS? you've got a problem with me!

I pray that I will never see a Six Flags Conneaut Lake
What I think that they shoud do to the landscaping, is make X into a ride over a man made lagoon. That would be cool if they dug a ditch large enough to make it look like the ride was over a pool of water, or something like that. As for how tall the first raven turn is, consider that the first drop on this rollercoaster is 200 feet tall and has a 90 degree drop. The first raven turn is rumored to be about 150 feet tall, I think (someone please prove me wrong).
The pics are awsome another great job at Twisted Rails.
X really doesn't need to be in it's own section, the theme accually fits! Baja Ridege is desert themed and many top secret military projects and new technology is testing in a desert! I bet SFMM doesn't even know this!

SFMM line cutters are the braviest in the world.

I agree with Todd, but I think it should just be given an uplift. That area is so drab. It doesn't even look good with the cacti around it and stuff.
They would be smart to put grass or somthing of that sort under it.
OPEN OPEN OPEN!!!

Six months ago I planned a trip to LA for X, figured end of September would make it.  Me no think so no more...
