Look Behind SOB, can anyone explain?

Leftovers from SOB. That picture is 2 years old

Part of a Flight Attendant's arrival announcement: "We'd like to thank you folks for flying with us today. And, the next time you get the insane urge to go blasting through the skies in a pressurized metal tube, we hope you'll think of us."

That is merely one of PKI's many "graveyards." There is no construction to speak of, rather that is an area where equipment such as earth movers/cherry pickers are kept as well as some spare lumber etc. Currently a good portion of King Cobra's now dismantled track is stored there.

That picture is a bit outdated, since an operating KC is right in front of it.

yeah, I saw the 2000 lable on the side, I just didn't know if it was possible. Thanks anyways, I got the pick last night on a topic from pkiunlimited.com and thought I might post it up here to see if anybody could help me out. Thanks again peeps. LOL, I'm sure i'll see you on the Travel Channel somtime this week Shaggy. At least I think that was you I saw a little bit ago on one of the coaster shows. It said John and looked like you so I thought I might ask...
Yeah it was him. Silly John.

Gas to get to PKI, $5.60. ACE card for walkback, $50.00. Meeting up with Beastnum1 and drinking 20 lemonjuice packets, priceless

We all know they have enough space though for almost anything though...at least it looks like it from the pics of SOB and the Beast.

It was me, but more than likely on Discovery.

I have only seen the show in which I am featured once and that was the first time it aired. (Once was enough!) The thing is, when you get filmed for a coaster show you never know when, or how often, it is going to be shown. Well, it sure seems (from the reactions I get.... positive and negative...) that they must air that show morning, noon and night.

Oiy Vey ;-)

Hey! I went on the helicopter that circles the park a few weeks ago, and from there, you can literally see *everything*. I took lots of pics, including 2 of the graveyard(s).

Here is a little of KC and what looks to be a tram type ride.

Here is a lot more of KC.

Feel free to browse at all my other pics too! ;)

So what exactly are they going to do with KC? Did they ever sell it or is it just gonna sit in the graveyard?

Is the tram the old safari monorail thingy that used to be back there?

Just 15 miles from 2 CCI's.
Approx. 200 coasters ridden -- #1 Shivering Timbers

No, it is just parking lot trams that are not in use. The monerail was sold to Jungle Jims Groceries (An elaborate grocery store with animated characters etc) in Fairfiled Ohio. The former safari monerail is on site, although has not opened.
