Just three weeks before the struggling park's scheduled opening date, a local businessman has agreed to lend Conneaut Lake Park the money to open its gates for the season. The $150,000 loan, along with $50,000 from the pending sale of a billboard, will provide the publicly owned park with the cash to buy supplies and get rides spinning for the park's 111th season.

Great news!!! Hopefully, this will be a successful season so that they can continue operating for many seasons to come. Good luck, Conneaut!

Good news.

I having been planning a family picnic comprising three families, kids, parents and grandparents to go to Conneuat Lake Park for a day this season in an effort to support the struggling park.

People need to vote with their dollars. Get yourself to Conneaut this season and make an effort to let others know about this charming little throw-back park so that it may have a future to go with its 100+ year old past.

I didn't see the name of the businessman, but whoever it is, thank you for saving this park. I will do my part to help you get back your investment.
