sfmm15, GO NOW! I made a pilgrimage to ride the Cyclone last summer, and it was incredible. For a small, compact 75 year old woodie, it still whipped my butt. Fantastic coaster, with huge laterals, amazing airtime, and it feels incredibly fast. Best drop is the short, 15 foot dip at the very end...flings you up out of your seat, then left into the side of the car. Amazing.

My favorite seat was the front seat on the last car...it was awesome. Very back was a little too rough, and very front wasn't as out of control, although all seats give good rides.

LOL gator! Ah, the coaster that all others are judged against......glad to see it alive and kicking after all these years. It may not be the oldest, but it is certainly one of the most famous and notorious. I plan on finally paying it a visit as soon as I get out there (probably next year.....grumble grumble).

Nice, it's my birthday as well, though I'm not quite 75, :) It sure is nice to share your b-day with a classic like the CI Cyclone.

Had a GREAT time celebrating Cyclone's birthday today. Despite the crowds managed 11 laps myself!! Also snuck on Jumbo Jets too which another one of my fav classics.
"Cyclone" remains as one of my top woodies, it's too bad some of the woodies of today can't learn more from her!
The best line of the day I heard was "how the h*** do you keep your hands up the whole ride? Are you out of your freaking mind?" :)
Had an awesome time! Riding Cyclone and hanging at the beach today makes me miss living here!!!
