Coney Island Thunderbolt Exhibit Opening

Just want to update everyone on the new Coney Island Thunderbolt display and museum. For those who don't already know about the museum, there will be a new exhibit including photography, video, and sculptures of the old Coney T-Bolt. It is being sponsored by the 'Nostalgia and Decay' group.

The tent, which will hold the display, has been moved from the original T-Bolt site to across the road from Nathens. I believe the tent will be near the exit of the Stillwell Avenue train station.

The exhibit, which will be running from June 22nd until July 31st, will be kicking off next Saturday at around 6:00 PM. We will be down there setting up two murals that we made early on Saturday morning, so if you are planning to go, let me know! We should be down there with URC's Chillforce on Sunday afternoon as well.

Although I have to admit I can't stand the round knishes-
I adore the square ones and was very disappointed that Nathan's switched which ones they use-blech! :(
Lucky for me however there's a jewish deli in Flushing where I can get all the square ones I want!!! :)
