Coney Island "Across the Narrows" Fest

Time for all coaster lovin' indie rock kids to buy some plane tickets to NYC. The band line-up for "Across the Narrows" music fest has just been announced on Pitchfork. This line-up looks even better than SirenFest back in July.

"The extravaganza will take place simultaneously on Coney Island and Staten Island on October 1 and 2. Promoters just released the final lineup, which includes Pixies, the Killers, Beck, and Oasis as the four headliners. Other acts making the bill include Gang of Four, Built to Spill, New York Dolls, Interpol, Belle and Sebastian and-- why not?-- the reunited Lemonheads."

Just thought I'd bump this up since the fest is happening this weekend and maybe someone in the NYC area is looking for something to do. Sounds like a rock and roller coastin' extravaganza. If anyone goes, please give us a trip report!
