Went out last night to get some of my last photos of the year. I'll definitely be going out on Sunday - but that will be too ride/enjoy, not to take pictures.

I was a bit surprised that they had fireworks, but enjoyed them nonetheless.

12th Street Amusements were closed...bummer.

I always forget how much of a hike Child's Restaurant/Dreamland Roller Rink is from everything else - to think that this used to be lined with shops/restaurants/etc - it's all by itself down there now. The place looks great and I really want to roller skate now.

Crowds were light until about 9:30 and then the place really started picking up.

TopSpin was down.

Thunderbolt at Denos was down.

Thanks so much jim....you were the first person that came to mind when I heard the sad news. Coney hasn't had a bigger advocate - and I'm really glad I got to experience it with you at least once. Much gratitude to the Albert family for many years of fun.

I never saw a vending machine for kosher hot dogs before. Also, six bucks a head for the Wonder Wheel is a bit steep.
