Commercials

Here in Las Vegas, we used to get all types of advertisements for theme parks and attractions outside of Las Vegas. Nowadays we don't get anything except for the Disney ones. What happened to all of our Six Flags, Knott's, Universal, and Seaworld ads.

Where does everybody live and what commercials do you all see?

I am in North Central Indiana. In the past I recall seeing commercials for Indiana Beach, Cedar Point, Kings Island and SF Great America. This year I only recall one park and that was for Holiday World. My question is, why don't they advertise as much on Ft. Wayne & South Bend TV as they used to?
i've seen one for i think some six flags park, but i do live 5 min from HW, which = the middle of no where

Montu, God Of Coasters

Raging Bull, Don't Fight It, Ride It

I would guess that you have seen Kentucky Kingdom which has aired on an Indianapolis Channel.
Gee if people actually pay attention, revenues are down this year parks and so is advertising is down. This was a bad money year for any company period, especially TV, Radio and Papers that take in tons of advertising money.

I live in Virginia. I see PKD, SFA, HP, SFMM, SFGADv <--last 2 are seen because of satellite.
I saw a lot of commercials for SFMW near the beginning of the season, but they started to disappear and lately all I have seen are occasional Fright Fest commercials. As far as PGA though, I haven't see one commercial. Same for any other place except for Disneyland and Walt Disney World.

That's it.  I place radio advertising for Disneyland, and although they still advertise in outer markets such as Vegas, Fresno, Bakersfield, their budgets are way down and the advertising campaigns are few and far between.

I live 20 min. from Lansing, MI, we see commercials for CP, MIA, SFGAM, and SFWOA, in a couple of years we'll be seeing them for Mackinaw City's new park.;)
