Comcast not looking to sell theme parks if acquisition of NBC-Universal succesful

Comcast COO Steve Burke said on Wednesday that Comcast isn't looking to get rid of NBC Universal's movie studios or theme parks, saying that all of its parts are part of a good media company. Comcast is slated to close its deal to buy NBC Universal by the end of the year, Burke reiterated.

I went to pay my cable bill yesterday (yes, I have Comcast), and there was a guy there who was cancelling his service, he specifically said, because he didn't want to help Comcast buy NBC.

Glad the parks will still be around.

Whether or not the parks would be around was never an issue. Whether or not they'd retain them was.
