TO CP TWISTER Heide Park is near Hannover (the city where Expo 2000 recently flopped) but I really wouldnt recommend Hannover, since it is one of the most boring cities in germany. The park is as well accesible from Hamburg (i think a 60/90 minute car drive, but also easily accesible by train). If you are in germany you must visit Hamburg, cause its a real nice city. Plus Hamburg has one of the longest lasting and largest fairs, right next to the notorious Reeperbahn (red light district) The fair, called Hamburger Dom takes place three times a year and lasts about four weeks. (spring/summer/winter)Your chances to have a ride on Schwarzkopfs OLYMPIA LOOPING (gigantic transportable 5 loop coaster) are quite good in Hamburg.
