Color of the new Legend trains will be...

...as close to the old color scheme as we can get. (Purple exterior, black seats.)

This is official, following this morning's directors' meeting in the Holiday World conference room.

The trains will have carved Legend logos on front--just like the old train. (The logo from the G-train has been retired and will be auctioned at SRM.)

Excellent decision! Thanks for keeping us posted on the happenings at the park that is surely #1 in our hearts...even if it is over 1,000 miles away. While I'm here, any word on the G-train's destination. I vaguely remember reading something about PTC refurbishing them and sending them to an undisclosed park, but was wondering what insight we might get from the wise and respected RavenMaven...

It's sitting in the Lakeside Picnic Shelter right now...
It's destined to head back to CCI. They will refurbish it and sent it elsewhere. Don't know where--in fact, they might not either.

The carved Legend logo is probably the coolest part of the old train's decoration, so I'm glad to see that the new trains will have them as well.

Auction at SRM, huh? Uh-oh, this could get interesting... :)

Actually...at the end of the season, it was discovered we still had one left in Guest Relations. (Don't ask--we don't have a clue!) So guess what? We'll be auctioning that off, too!

Hey, that thing still looks damn cool in my room. And i stll have my flag from the raven's lift hill hanging right here beside me. :) :) :)

I love my lapbar! What a great way to own a piece of your favorite ride in the world, while donating to a good cause. Thanks again for doing that! But the front of the original train? Now that's gonna be something! You can bet I am already saving up for that one! :)

Paula, thanks for passing this info along to us! Let everyone there know that they have (again) won my heart by continuing with the 3-D logos and original colors! I'm getting emotional already....*sniff*....is it May yet? :(

I know something that would be fun to auction off: How about a Raven or Legend party for you and 20-odd friends (however many fit in a train)? Non-stop rides, all night long! That would draw a pretty penny!
