CoasterWorks! getting set to debut a new coaster?

On their website, under the "new projects" section, they list "Storm". Anyone have any idea, is this old news, or are they really getting ready for another coaster?
Can you post a link?

I want to say this is very very old news, but I can't be sure. I do know there was some rumors about them building the SFEV coaster last year, that obviously didn't come to pass.

I don't think Coasterworks holds much water, to tell the truth.

"Storm" has been listed as a "new project" for about 2 years now. Sorry ;)

Did CoasterWorks ever start or build Gray Wolf in Russia? It looks like a decent out and back woodie from what I can tell of the layout on their site. I couldn't find it listed on RCDB.

Guess it's worth noting that they're now called "The Coaster Works Canada Inc.". I know they used to be HQ'd in Tennessee, at least that's what's on the "born on" plate from DBH...

I *thought* I had heard/read that CW was merged or bought out by another company, and was only doing retracking and not any new construction. Canada sort of suggests a connection with M-V, doesn't it? Anyone know anything for sure, or at least can elaborate on the developments?

IIRC "Grey Wolf" was designed by Coaster Works and [to be] built by PAX. Not sure why it's not on RCDB nor Admirel Vrungel's website.

Is admiral Vrungel's a park with nothing but PAX built rides? I am not too familiar with the park or the company, but I remember at IAAPA they had one big exhibit and seemed like they were mixed together. Does PAX own the park, kind of what Stan from S&S wants to do?

Wasn't "Storm" the name that the DB Huricane was going to called originally?, anyhoo, like 'moosh said it has been up there for about 2 years.

I remember hearing something about "Storm" going to a small CA park, but that obviously never happened.

That would be Castle Park, Rob.

That sounds familiar. Not sure if it was true, though.

I believe it was only a rumor, although I do think Castle Park would be a perfect candidate for a small-medium woodie.

I can think of about two dozen small parks that could use a small-medium wooden coaster, but sadly, none of them seem to be reading my mind!

...and a good thing at that! You didn't know this, Rob, but I read your mind briefly at PPP. You should be *ashamed* of yourself for some of the things you think!

I am ashamed... very ashamed ;)

No one knows this, but the reason why I wear a mask later at night is so the people reading my mind can't match the thoughts with a face. There are some very strange thoughts that run around in the darkest corners of my mind...

I always manage to get a nice thought or two in there from time to time!
