Just make sure you download it and not stream it... the server only feeds out at only 38/kb sec ...  I'm on a 45mbps T3... and at a hefty 19 meg file size, it's gonna take 10 minutes to download. 

Hey Brandon, if you wanna mirror it on my site, my server can actually handle the traffic. 

I was easily able to take pictures and film loading and stuff when I was in the X station waiting for the front row. The employees did not care.

oh my...   the funny thing about the video was the text at the end, it was so fuzzy i dont know why they bothered putting it in the vid :)

Download it and play it in Windows Media Player, I see it fine. Quicktime flugs over the sound as well. Panther something must be wrong with your server because I consistently get speeds of 130 or more with my server, but I'm sure its bogged down with all the downloads.

How fast is that video downloading for people???? I'm just wondering cause I am only on a normal Modem Connection, and it was downloading really fast, It took only 1hr 10 mins which is excellent for me considering the size of the file is 20 Meg. Prehaps I've got a good connection at the moment cause I was expecting it to take 2hrs+

I must admit, that was definatly worth the download, The Video was absolutly stunning and the soundtrack was pretty groovy too. X looks like a fantastic ride, and I cant wait to ride it in June :):) June just cant come soon enough

coolness, the song is called Step Back (vocal mix) by Silverblue.  all i could see at the end credits under music was "music by silver ___ ___ (vocal mix)"  so i just typed in vocal mix in morpheus and there it came :D

If you are getting slow downloads it must be that the server is quite bogged down, we've gotten about 4 gigs of transfer in the past day or so. Also, with the new site we'll list all the songs used in all of the videos so no guesswork will have to be used. :)

All I can say is awesome! When I first heard the Alpengeist music used in his movie years ago, I was addicted. Carte Blanch, by Veracocha. I listened to the movie over and over on loop play. That song i still one of my favorites today. This was my first experience with this type of music. I was addicted. I searched for more, of what was called so called "trance"... hehe.. and ever since I am continued to be amazed with the genre of music and what type of music is out there. It was all thanks to the awesome music selection from Iain! This is no exception.

Heh, but besides the music, yes, the video is also just as awesome! POV... mmmmm..... February, WHY WON'T YOU COME FASTER!

I got half downloaded, and am downloading it all now...cursed people having to make phone calls. Well that's what I get for having dial-up (not even 56k). From what I saw and heard, I have to say that it is a freaking unbelieveable video as well as ride! I haven't been this excited for a ride since MF. I truly hope this marks Arrows comeback, and this is definitely the ride to do it!

I know I may not be able ride it for a few years, if at all, but it's still stunning nonetheless. Speaking of MF, I'm probably going to download its 2nd video as well. Heck maybe even Boulder Dash too!

I believe the reason for the "small text" (hehe.. I even went as far as to making it an inside joke with asomeone... WHY IS THE TEXT EVEN THERE!?)... anyways, I am not sure about this video in particular, but the other ones were pre-edited onto videotape, so when converted to the computer, and made smaller, it doesn't appear the same as it would full screen on TV. Hence the reason for text we can't read it.

Everybody deserves credit for this one, since three people were involved. Video footage, Video Editer, and Video Host :) Thanks guys!

Wuttup everyone... im the guy responsible for the footage of the vid...! Glad everyone seemed to like it. About the POV - it really wasnt that hard, just took some thinking and a sweatshirt... i was able to hide it under my sweatshirt while i got strapped in and locked up and then after that i just busted it out... and its not even small! its a huge Sony Hi-8 cam! anyways glad to hear comments and questions...

Great Vid! The music was great and the POV towards the end of the video was excellent! Twisted Rails still has the best X Video IMO though. Nice Job!

Great work! I think that it was really fitting for the guy in the seat in front of you to put his hands up like you would at a concert...it gets you even more pumped. The POV was exquisite...even though it may have been against the rules, I commend you on breaking it this time because the shots are so sweet!
