Coasters That Can Change(not Jump) Tracks

Are there any coasters, besides the TOGO barrel rolls, that switch tracks? (Mister Freeze and other side by side station rides dont count.) I remember my friend telling me about a Vekoma that did that, and I was just wondering.

On the seventh day, God created coasters!

There is a vekoma tilt coaster where the track tilts to a 90 degree angle and the continues along the track. I think that is the coaster.

Edit: Here is a pic of it. (click on rides at the bottom and then tilt coaster)

I talked with the Dippin' Dots guy and he assured me that Cedar Point was to get that 10-inversion terra-woodie-invert-stand-up because Magnum is sinking. The current construction is for the new super-Dippin' Dots stall he is to run.

Vekoma Tilt? The train comes on to a platform, than pivots down to vertical. Then the train is relaesed. This coaster is called Gravity Max.

Edit: Dang Rockman beat me.

I need to use the Pipi station.

I need to use the Pipi station.

I went looking for pictures and got beat to the point, anyway, Gravity Max can be seen here and here.

I guess you *could* argue that the mobius coasters (thinking KW's Racer is the only one in N America) do in fact *change* tracks...:)

Hate to tell you, but racer does not change tracks. It's one continuous track that starts at one station, then stops at the other to reload, then on the next run it's back to the original station. Sorry!!

MLEM4S rules

Zanderdad, exactly, it is one continuous track that goes around twice, like two coasters on one track, like changing from one track to the other ugh, nevermind, hard to explain what he meant but from what he said he knew that it was one continuous track because he pointed out mobius and they are of the very few that ever did that.

The below statement is true.
The above statement is false.

A better way of explaining it, is that on a mobius design, you only cover half the track on one ride. To cover the second half you'd have to re-ride starting in the opposite station.

Does that mean if I only ride one side of Kennywood's Racer that I only get a 1/2 credit? ;)

Yes, LG...but the real question is why don't KW or CP turn the hand-slappers Gemini and Racer around (one forward, one backward), so you could adequately "taunt" the riders on the other side...;) Or HP could do this with LR during Halloween so the Lightning riders could point and laugh when those poor Thunder riders "finally" get to the finish line...:)

P.S. I'm just kidding, both sides are great, please don't take offense if you're an overly-sensitive fan of Thunder...;). Don't need to start a flame war on which side is *better*.

There's a few Mack coasters, such as the EuroMIR and some Wild Mouses (including Matterhorn Blitz at Europa Park and Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster at Warner Bros. Movie World Australia), which make use of elevator lifts. Then there's 'LoCoSuMo', with its elevator. Caripro suspended coasters also use an elevator-style lift.

There's bound to be more in the elevator category.

So what if the best coaster in Australia is a second hand Arrow?

Gator, Lightning is so much of a better ride then Thunder it's not even funny. Although when I was there this summer I rode about 15 times and Lightning only won 3 times, UGH!
