Coasters not Guns
I agree. I just read about the Santana Shooting Spree in the paper. That sucks, is one of several bads things about your country, the other being guns of course! The killer may have been teased heaps, but that's no excuse to kill other kids just for that reason. The killer should have ridden coasters to forget about his problems like we do!

Okay you really cannot say what is going through these kids minds. Some people are teased so much in school that they end up killing themselves, now I guess they feel why not get back. I think that teens now-a-days need to realize that they should watch how far they go, because something like this could happen. I know I don't do it any more.
I don't think a season pass to an amusement park would even help the situation.

There are numerous problems to that idea... First and foremost, not everyone could just let anger out by riding a coaster. Also, they suffer greater pains then you do... In addition, for them to get to the amusement park, they need transportation. Since often these people can't drive, and their parents obviously neglect them, they aren't going to be able to get to a park...
Actually Everdred in a lot of these cases we are finding out that there fathers or uncles have taken them hunting and dont neglect them. And besides these kids live in middle class to Upper Class neiborhoods i just cant see how they dont feel loved?

LOL! Well, I got my physics class interested in them and we had a ball on Physics is Fun Day at Wonderland. I bet this happens to most of you, people start staring at the wall as you babble on about coasters. :)

We had another shooting today here in PA and the really scary part about this one, is it happened at a Catholic School. Think about that, a Catholic School, where you are taught to love thy neighbor. Something is really wrong with these kids, I just wish we, as a nation, could help them. I don't think a day at an amusement park would help these kids. They have bigger issues then people seem to realize. As a parent of a two year old and the things that go on these days, I'm scared to death to think of the things she is going to have to deal with in a few years.

I am currently enrolled at East High School in Denver and I see kids get teased for days on end. And its the same ones over and over. I also happen to get teased a lot but I don't vent my frustration by shooting the place up. The teasers need to think more about what is going through the teasee's mind and how much it is hurting them. I am not trying to right any wrongs but, sometimes the kids need to know when to stop. Many people are now saying that we should look for warning signs and the signs are kids getting teased.
